If anyone does build a 302, I’d love to see them.

What is the grey bar piece that the two clips on the bottom of each foot are attached to? Is that another Tap or something else?

I’m new to this, so I’ve been poring over parts lists and slowly matching everything up, and that’s the only one I can’t see well enough to figure out!

First lego mech I built was based on the 302. Its an excellent design, IMO, one of the best for mechaton because its small yet detailed and very sturdy for the tabletop.

I’ve been trying to figure out what the pieces are that make up the top of the main body (head?) section are. I know that there’s a 1 x 1 brick with headlight just behind the central brick (which all the limbs connect to), and above that is a round 1 x 1 plate, but what’s on top of that? Above that is another round 1 x 1 plate on the rear side, and there’s an angled piece that’s closer to the front of the head that I can’t identify. Anyone know what those 2 pieces are?

The cluster behind the head is made up of a simple 1×2 plate with a 1×1 round plate at one end and a ‘cheese slope’ (Slope 30 1 x 1 x 2/3) at the other.

I should actually do a clearer picture with a breakdown of all the individual parts.

I’ve actually been working on making a MgN-302 model in Bricksmith, and your help let me finally make it. Thanks! Now I’ve just got to start making some attachments… 🙂
